1. Ensure the PR has the correct approvals.
   • CR Pass - always required.
   • QA Pass - always required, but can sometimes be included in the CR.
   • Client Review Pass - if needed.
2. Log into WP Engine and run a backup.
3. Go to Deploy HQ and use the “Preview” feature to ensure the files being deployed line up with the changes in the PR.
4. Run the deployment in Deploy HQ.
   • Await completion.
   • Sometimes an error might occur at this point, if so, you should fix and return to step 1.
5. Test the feature on the live environment.
   • If there is a major problem, notify other engineers and perform a rollback.
   • If there is a minor problem, notify other engineers and hotfix.
6. Notify the client via support ticket if needed.
